We are seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our team at The Kingslodge Inn, a multi-award-winning pub with rooms in Durham. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our inn, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, has a keen eye for detail, and is able to work well under pressure. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and greeting customers, taking food and drink orders, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Working with the kitchen team to deliver great food and ensuring that our high standards are met
  • Delivering bills and taking payment efficiently, while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
  • Supporting your team members and contributing to a positive and productive work environment

Age-related pay rates apply for Under 21s. 18-20: £9.00 per hour. Under 18s: £7.50 per hour.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Enthusiasm and passion for food, beer, and people
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to work well under pressure
