Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site and providing a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide visible security cover to the site and handle enquiries and customer concerns
* Monitor CCTV and control contractors and deliveries to the site
* Work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment
* Undertake regular patrols of the site as instructed by the Centre Manager
* Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Manager
* Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the site
* Ensure that the site is a safe and pleasant environment
* Assist with enquiries from the public both in person and on the telephone
* Obtain meter readings
* Occasional requirement to litter pick the site when caretaker on holiday
* Minor maintenance tasks may be required

Requirements:

* Experience in the provision of security services in a busy environment visited by members of the public
* Hold a valid SIA Security Licence and where necessary a Public Space Surveillance Licence
* Ability to demonstrate good levels of customer service at all times
* Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations
* Honest and reliable work ethic
* Willingness to partake in on-site training for emergency procedures
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work patterns and work weekends/evenings as and when required
* Willingness to undertake additional training and career development
* Well presented
* Accurate record keeping with good attention to detail
* Willing to work as part of team

Desirable:

* Basic IT knowledge

Working Hours:

* 12 hour shifts, both day and night shifts available

Salary:

* £12.25 PH
