Job Title: Security Guard SIA Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Savills Management Resources. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing visible security cover to our site, handling enquiries and customer concerns, monitoring CCTV, and controlling contractors and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment.
  2. Undertake regular patrols of the site as instructed by the Centre Manager.
  3. Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by the Centre Manager.
  4. Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the site.
  5. Ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the site are complied with at all times.
  6. Record all incidents in the Incident Log.
  7. Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere to requirements for contractor management and site H&S.
  8. Ensure that the site is a safe and pleasant environment.
  9. Assist with enquiries from the public both in person and on the telephone.
  10. Obtain meter readings.
  11. Litter pick the site when the caretaker is on holiday.
  12. Perform minor maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:

Essential:

  1. Experience in the provision of security services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.
  2. Hold a valid SIA Security Licence and, where necessary, a Public Space Surveillance Licence.
  3. Ability to demonstrate good levels of customer service at all times.
  4. Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
  5. Honest and reliable work ethic.
  6. Willingness to partake in on-site training for emergency procedures.
  7. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work patterns and work weekends/evenings as and when required.
  9. Willingness to undertake additional training and career development.
  10. Well presented.
  11. Accurate record keeping with good attention to detail.
  12. Willing to work as part of a team.

Desirable:

  1. Basic IT knowledge.

Working Hours: 12 hour shifts, both day and night shifts available.

Salary: £12.25 PH
