Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our paper mill in Hamilton. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished products.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate forklift equipment to move materials around the paper mill
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient production
- Work closely with paper machine assistants to achieve production goals
- Unload trucks and prepare materials for processing
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
Requirements
- Valid counterbalance or other MHE license
- Experience driving a forklift truck
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
