Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Hamilton. As a key member of our production process, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our paper mill.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to move reels and bales around the paper mill.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults.
  • Proactively maintain housekeeping within the paper mill to ensure space optimization.
  • Work closely with paper machine assistants to ensure efficient production.
  • Relocate reels and bales to enable efficient smart working.
  • Prepare pulp area in line with product specifications.
  • Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies.
  • Unload trucks as required.
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance or other MHE license.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Experience driving a forklift truck.
  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
