About the Role

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Depot in Kent.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet assets to company and legislative standards, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimizing downtime.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading specialist provider of Powered Access rental equipment, where your skills and experience will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair fleet assets to company and legislative standards.
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Service Manager to optimize workshop operations and minimize machine downtime.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all relevant paperwork using Company's engineering system/application.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive image.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in powered access technology.

Requirements:

  • IPAF Operator Licence.
  • Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience of completing complex engineering repairs.
  • Mature outlook and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics fault finding.
  • Ability to use basic functions of the operating system (L-Vis) to complete tasks relevant to role.
