Simpson Booth Limited is seeking a Project Decommissioning Specialist to complement their project team in Bristol, with occasional travel to site (South West).

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the direction and coordination of the design and engineering aspects of the project deliverables, ensuring project deliverables are delivered in line with agreed contractual obligations and project expectations.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Confirm client specifications between the project team and engineering disciplines;
  2. Coordinate the design requirements of the project with the design team, including drawings, tools/equipment, materials, and specific design requirements for the project lifecycle;
  3. Liaise with Project Controls on the design schedule, risks, and report as required;
  4. Ensure the company is supported technically and controlled according to best practices, meets customer requirements, and minimizes risks for the business;
  5. Develop support and monitor the manufacturing;
  6. Liaise with the Quality Manager on effectively investigating NCRs and assisting with the effective close-out;
About You

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a degree qualification in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering. Relevant experience in the nuclear sector or other heavy, or highly regulated industries would be advantageous.

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, plus benefits, is offered for this role.
