About the Role

Total Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Nuclear Decommissioning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering solutions to decommissioning challenges across the UK and internationally.

  • You will be responsible for conducting thorough analyses and developing multi-phase decommissioning plans.
  • Your duties will include optioneering and feasibility studies, decommissioning planning, bespoke studies, post-operational clean out planning, investigation and characterisation planning, dismantling and size reduction planning and design, and preparation of method statements and design risk assessments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver decommissioning projects on time and within budget.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc or BEng/MEng in a relevant nuclear engineering, decommissioning, waste management or engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
  • A willingness to obtain a security clearance.
