About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join our Decommissioning and Regeneration Solutions team at Jacobs. As a key member of our Strategic Markets business, you will be responsible for leading process engineering efforts in nuclear decommissioning projects and mentoring early years career engineers.

The estimated salary for this position is around £90,000 per annum, taking into account your experience and qualifications.

Your Key Tasks:
  1. Leverage your expertise to design, optimize, and implement process engineering solutions for nuclear decommissioning projects.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  3. Develop and oversee training initiatives for early years career engineers, focusing on technical skills and professional development.
  4. Mentor and develop early years career engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  5. Collaborate with the Specialist Engineering leadership team to identify talent development needs and opportunities.
  6. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to early/mid-career engineers.
  7. Support recruitment activities, helping to attract top talent to the engineering team.
  8. Ensure that process engineering projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  9. Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and industry trends in process engineering and nuclear decommissioning.
