Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our First Response, Assessment and Screening team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and intervention services to children and families, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Registered with Social Work England and holding a valid driving license.
- Extensive knowledge and application of social work legislation, methodologies, and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands to meet deadlines.
