Medical Secretary and Patient Pathway Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Secretary and Patient Pathway Coordinator. This exciting opportunity will involve managing and monitoring patients through their treatment pathway, ensuring compliance with RTT, cancer pathways, and local waiting time standards.
Main Duties of the Job
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and monitoring patients through their treatment pathway
- Liaising with the Trust and outsourced dictation services or voice recognition services
- Providing comprehensive administrative, clerical, and audio typing support to consultants and their teams
- Working in a team-based secretarial service to provide support for each other and ensure continuity of the service
- Acting as a key point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff, and outside agencies
