Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Response Personnel. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for managing customer complaints and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in accordance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
  • Use your judgment to ensure fair and appropriate customer outcomes within your level of authority.
  • Produce high-quality written responses and provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders as required.
  • Evaluate customer circumstances and negotiate with internal and external parties to achieve a resolution.
  • Manage case diagnostics and triage processes to effectively categorize, route, and prioritize cases.
  • Accurately report and log all actions through company systems to support root cause analysis and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and industry requirements, including TCF, FCA, FOS, and vulnerable customer guidance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate systematic thought processes and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong customer focus and high level of resilience.
  • Experience in complaint handling, either in financial services or another industry.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
