About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to school children, implementing digital software and a revised scheme of work, and ensuring the safety of participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver swimming lessons to school children, focusing on National Curriculum Outcomes in relation to Swimming in PE
- Implement digital software and a revised scheme of work to improve teaching efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure the safety of participants during lessons and activities
- Provide training and development to the team, utilizing strong communication and leadership skills
Requirements
- Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics
- NPLQ or NRASTAC Rescue Qualification
