About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children aged 5-17.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to mixed ability groups
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Supervise children during pool sessions and lunch breaks
  • Participate in swimming sessions and oversee safe use of equipment
  • Record any incidents or accidents

Requirements

  • 12 months experience as a swim teacher
  • SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification
  • Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC)
  • Upwards of 6 months experience working with 5-17-year-olds
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching or mentoring younger individuals
