Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students in a school setting.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification in Teaching Aquatics and a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) or NRASTAC Rescue Qualification. You will also need to have a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity.
As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for promoting the Council's vision, values, and priorities, and delivering best value services to our citizens. You will also be responsible for the safety of participants and delivering swimming lessons that meet the National Curriculum outcomes in relation to swimming in PE.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
