Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at PRS. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, inspection, and repair services to air conditioning and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on air conditioning and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on chillers, air handling units (AHU), split systems, and fan coil units.
  • Conduct small works, installations, and refurbishments of air conditioning and cooling equipment.
  • Maintain and manage records for all HVAC equipment on our facilities, including F-Gas records.
  • Diagnose faults and perform leak repairs on air conditioning and cooling systems.
  • Liaise with electrical building services and building management system (BMS) teams to ensure seamless integration and overlap.
  • Provide expert advice on air conditioning and air cooling systems based on current theory and knowledge.
  • Assist with general ad-hoc maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Experience in air conditioning and chiller maintenance.
  • Strong building services knowledge, including basic electrical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Chiller/refrigeration knowledge.
  • IT literacy and good record-keeping skills.
  • Qualified AC-R engineer (C&G/NVQ) and F-Gas 2079 safe handling of refrigerants.
  • Valid driving license.
