Anaesthetist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthetic service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective anaesthetic care to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
- Participate in the consultant on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support and expertise as required.
- Contribute to the development of clinical and organisational protocols, ensuring that our anaesthetic service is aligned with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Participate in teaching, examination, and accreditation duties for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education activity, locally and nationally.
- Be actively involved in participating in medical audit, the Trust's Clinical Governance processes, and in continuing professional development.
