Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations in Ballater, UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train a team of Housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Allocate work duties and tasks to team members to ensure efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Oversee the daily wash of towels and linen, including counting and bagging for external laundry collection.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of our in-house laundry and linen stock management.
  • Perform regular stock checks for Suite & Lodge Linen/towels, etc.
  • Rotate linen and towel stocks to maintain high standards.
  • Manage the workflow in the laundry to meet business needs.
  • Manage resort uniform stock and ordering as required.
  • Assist with Lodge/Suite deep cleaning processes and other projects as needed.
  • Provide exceptional Guest service, including VIP and special requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Resort brand standards at all times.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming and appearance.
  • Proven track record of working with and managing a team.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing people, ideally using a coaching style to ensure high standards.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional Guest service.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry would be advantageous.
