Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Technician

Location: Burton Upon Trent, UK

Full Time - Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 Weekly Pattern, covering morning, weekend, off, afternoon and night shifts.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 per annum, with a comprehensive benefits package including product allowance, bonus scheme, access to 24/7 Private GP services, enhanced company pension contribution, generous holiday entitlement (including bank holidays), life assurance, and access to a range of high street discounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in our brewery environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced industry, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in accordance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime.
  • Repairing and replacing mechanical parts, such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operation of processes and procedures across the site.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to colleagues and customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a maintenance or engineering role in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with knowledge of relevant safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
