The Opportunity
As a Shift Fitter at our facility, your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will keep our production line running smoothly. This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotating three-shift pattern, ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and takes pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain essential factory machinery to meet production goals.
  • E nsure all machinery and equipment are kept in optimal working order through preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues, ensuring safe and efficient operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for efficiency and quality enhancements
  • Apply welding, fabrication, and skills in hydraulics and pneumatics to keep equipment operating at its best

You Are:
  • An experienced maintenance professional who thrives in a production setting.
  • You have completed a mechanical apprenticeship and hold relevant certifications, such as City & Guilds, B Tech, or NVQ Level 2 or 3
  • You bring solid mechanical skills in areas like metal fabrication, welding, and machine maintenance
  • You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to the rotating shift pattern
