Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Courier to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across the region.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be required to work independently, managing your own delivery route and ensuring that all packages are delivered on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers across the region
  • Manage your own delivery route and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and respond to queries in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve delivery targets and improve overall efficiency

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do. You should also be happy working outdoors in all weather conditions and have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary equivalent to £12.54 per hour, plus overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), full uniform provided, and access to our company pension scheme. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your career through our trainee manager roles and apprentice schemes, and enjoy excellent family-friendly support, including enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave, and shared parental leave.
