Are you looking for a flexible and active outdoor role? As a Meter Reader at Morrison Data Services Careers, you will be responsible for collecting data in both commercial and residential properties. You will update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device. You will be an ambassador for the company, representing many of the UK's leading suppliers.
What does an average day look like?
Initially, you will join our training environment before moving out into the field. You will start your day by signing into your handheld device so you are ready for the day ahead. Your day will begin with you planning your route. Meters can be inside or outside properties, so you will need to decide what time you are more likely to gain access to an inside meter. You will spend your day walking or driving from property to property, always ensuring your own and customers' safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect data in commercial and residential properties
* Update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device
* Represent the company and its suppliers in the field
* Work flexibly and independently in an active outdoor role
