About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Manager to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering our transformation and improvement programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the delivery of insightful analysis to support performance monitoring, transformation, and improvement for our Clinical Groups.
  2. Design and implement strategies for data collection, collation, and analysis to provide analytic support to our programmes and projects.
  3. Develop data insights and analytical tools to support performance management and the prioritization and delivery of change.
  4. Elevate the analytic capability across our organization through supporting the development and delivery of capability development programmes and communities of practice.

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's busiest and most successful foundation trusts. We provide specialist care for patients, including heart and lung, cancer, and renal services, as well as a full range of local hospital and community services for people in Lambeth and Southwark.

Requirements
  1. Master's degree in an informatics-related discipline or equivalent experience in information management.
  2. Evidence of significant continuing professional development in data science.
  3. Knowledge of current NHS issues relating to data policy, both clinical and non-clinical.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Certification in project or programme management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
Previous Experience
  1. Significant post-graduation experience in a role with a significant analytical component.
  2. Technical subject matter experience and broad experience of using information derived from large and complex data sets.
  3. Substantial experience of supervising staff and/or an analytics function, including staff development.
  4. Significant experience of developing network relationships and working collaboratively effectively.
Skills and Knowledge
  1. Substantial analytical knowledge, skills, and ability, including experience in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools.
  2. Ability to present complex information in a high-impact, understandable, and concise manner.
  3. Ability to develop measurement frameworks and benefits mapping for programmes.
