About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Sales Specialist to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a leading Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales within the construction industry, particularly in fall protection systems.

Job Overview:

This is a technical field sales position where you will be responsible for selling installation services of fall protection systems such as guardrails, lifelines, safe access, platforms, and walkways. You will work with large end-users, main contractors, roofing contractors, and builders to promote our services and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sell installation services to clients in the construction industry, focusing on fall protection systems.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including site managers, quantity surveyors, and purchasing managers.
  3. Conduct surveys to assess client needs and provide solutions tailored to their requirements.
  4. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipeline, and CRM data.
  5. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  6. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, achieving an estimated turnover of circa £1.2m.

Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of fall protection systems.
  2. Tech-savvy, with ability to conduct site surveys and use software such as AutoCAD (desired).
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  4. Self-motivated, driven, and result-oriented, with a hunger to succeed in a challenging sales environment.
  5. Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • Bonus structure offering up to 25% of basic salary.
