A Credit Controller is sought for a dynamic retail department in Manchester, where the focus will be on maintaining and improving credit processes, whilst fostering strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain client relationships to ensure effective credit control.
- Oversee credit processes and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Provide detailed reports on credit control activity to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company standards to maintain a high level of credit control.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals to drive business success.
- Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Proven experience working as a credit controller with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage credit control processes.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve credit control issues.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
