Our client, a reputable not-for-profit training provider, seeks an experienced Vocational Specialist Trainer to deliver apprenticeship training in Bus and Coach Engineering. This role involves teaching both practical and theoretical skills to apprentices, with regular progress reviews.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring learner progress, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the delivery of apprenticeship standards. They will work closely with the Functional Skills team, liaise with Account Managers, and serve as an ambassador for the company.

Main duties include:

  • Monitoring off-the-job training and collaborating with other teams to ensure learners' progress
  • Maintaining and developing lesson plans and teaching resources
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities policies

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess relevant experience in delivering vocational training, particularly in Bus and Coach Engineering. A strong organizational skillset, excellent communication abilities, and flexibility are also essential.
