Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery, as well as participating in planned maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a mechanical bias. You will be working alongside a large and experienced maintenance team, where you will be fully supported in your role.

The maintenance activities are predominantly mechanical, with some basic electrical fault finding required. Due to new machinery and lines being added on site, the maintenance is predominantly reactive. Plans will be in place to move toward a more preventative approach in time.

Maintenance Engineer Role:
  1. Reactive Maintenance on production and packaging machinery
  2. PPM
  3. Mostly mechanical maintenance with basic electrical fault finding
  4. Machinery Installation, Upgrades and Refurbishment
  5. Monday to Friday 37 Hours. 3 Shift Rotation with 1 week of nights every 5 weeks. Early finish Fridays
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
  1. The role would suit maintenance engineers, service engineers or maintenance technicians
  2. Engineers must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
  3. Applicants from FMCG or packaging backgrounds will have a considerable advantage
  4. Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent
