As a Principal Medical Writer at Cognite, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's scientific strategy and delivering high-quality communications that convey complex ideas in an engaging manner. You will work closely with internal colleagues and external partners to drive transformative therapies and foster innovative partnerships globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and using it to create compelling client communications
  • Leading scientific discussions with medical experts and making valuable contributions
  • Developing content for various projects and overseeing work on allocated accounts by briefing and reviewing other writers
  • Contributing to the scientific strategy and ensuring messaging aligns with overall brand strategy
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues to deliver seamless project outcomes
  • Sharing knowledge and providing expert advice on brands and therapy areas to internal stakeholders
  • Staying updated on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the quality of medical writing
  • Contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities and attending pitches

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant science or postgraduate qualification/PhD. They must have proven experience in medical writing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
