Job Opportunity: Adult Support Worker

Fulbridge Social Care is a specialist care and training provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality support services to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team.

As an Adult Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and promoting the independence of individuals with learning disabilities, ASD, physical disabilities, challenging behaviors, acquired brain injuries, and psychological disorders. You will work in a variety of settings, including residential homes, supported living services, and community-based settings, providing personalized support to each individual based on their unique needs and care plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Building strong, professional relationships with service users and colleagues
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users to live and work
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of recreational, social, and educational activities, including escorting and supporting individuals as needed
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained
  • Encouraging and facilitating autonomy, personal choice, and independence in all aspects of life, as specified in care plans and risk assessments
  • Safeguarding vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Previous experience in a care or supporting role
  • Effective communication skills with service users and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and circumstances
  • Awareness of health, safety, and welfare considerations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of service users
  • Resilience and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Full UK driving license
