Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our finance team at Loma Systems. As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain divisional datasets and related financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assist the finance teams with month-end close, including financial reporting, journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory use, standard cost variances, and support the annual cost roll.
  • Partner with controllers to produce custom reports and streamline financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the finance team and undertake analysis to provide a positive business impact.
  • Support expenses management and take ownership of a wide range of activities to support the finance department.

Requirements:

  • Desire to develop a career in finance.
  • Degree-level qualified with at least a 2:1 degree class.
  • Motivated to study for professional qualifications.
  • Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Analytical thinking.

  • Good ability in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and willingness to learn relevant systems, MS D365 and Power BI.
