As a Nuclear Safety & Regulation Graduate at BAE Systems, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our submarines. Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to provide expert advice and support on nuclear safety-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance and information to departments and stakeholders on nuclear safety issues.
  • Contributing to the development of nuclear safety documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Gaining knowledge of nuclear law and regulations in the UK and the nuclear industry.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions that support programme delivery.
  • Engaging with a range of stakeholders across the BAE Systems network and beyond.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background in a relevant field, such as nuclear engineering, physics, or a related STEM subject. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to various audiences.
