About Our Client

Michael Page (UK) is collaborating with one of the UK's leading housing providers to build an in-house FRA team within social housing. This technical-based team will bring together knowledge to provide exceptional service to customers.

 

Job Summary

This role involves carrying out fire risk assessments in domestic housing, care and support schemes, and community halls. The successful candidate will work closely with the Fire Risk Assessment Manager and Senior Fire Risk Assessor to deliver risk assessments in line with the Fire Safety Management System.

 

  • To conduct type 1, 3, and 4 fire risk assessment programs in domestic housing, care and support schemes, and properties managed by the client.
  • Liaise with senior colleagues to ensure risk assessments are carried out in accordance with the Fire Safety Management System.
  • Coordinate contractors for destructive inspections as part of type 4 fire risk assessments.
  • Verify that all repair work meets fire safety standards and is of high quality.
  • Provide concise and detailed fire risk assessments for all types of assessments.

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

 

  • A NEBOSH Fire Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Applied Fire Risk Assessment.
  • Experience working as a fire risk assessor in residential housing and care and support schemes, with evidence of applying PAS 79.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
