Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician/Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical team at Avonmouth Docks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a passion for working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

This is a maintenance role that involves working on our concrete segment production facility, batching plant, offices, and various buildings around the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, automation control panels, 3-phase motors, contactors, and relays of safety circuits. They will also be expected to work on commercial and industrial electrical projects, as well as perform inspection and testing tasks.

The team will provide familiarization with all equipment, and the successful candidate will be trained as an Appointed Person. All works will require permits to be issued onsite, which the AP's are appointed to do so.

Shift Pattern
4-week shift pattern - 2 weeks of days (Monday - Saturday) and 2 weeks of nights (Monday - Friday).

  • Monday - Friday, 12 hours, 6am-6pm
  • Saturday, 8 hours, 6am-2pm
Night Shift
  • 2 weeks of night shift
  • Monday - Friday, 12 hours, 6pm-6am
Requirements
  • Fully Qualified Electrician
  • JIB/ECS Gold Card
  • BS7671 18th Edition qualification
  • Testing & Inspecting C&G 2391 (Desirable)
