Electrical Maintenance Technician

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Places for People. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, testing, and inspections on our domestic housing portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical repairs, testing, and inspections on void and tenanted properties
  • Conduct fixed wire testing and installations
  • Perform 1st and 2nd fix installation work, consumer unit changes, electrical rewires, and wiring upgrades
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults and defects
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in social housing or domestic properties
  • Experience in response and voids maintenance
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • Basic DBS check
  • Driving licence
