Childcare Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childcare Development Specialist at Hadland Care Group's First Steps Day Nursery.
The nursery is divided into two levels: baby/toddler and pre-school, catering to children aged 3 months to school age. Our experienced team provides a nurturing environment that fosters each child's growth and development.
As a Childcare Development Specialist, you will be responsible for caring for and supporting children through learning and play. This includes providing all aspects of personal care, such as nappy changing, bottle feeding, and potty training. You will also play with and support toddlers, preparing pre-school children for school readiness. Additionally, you will follow the curriculum and support children emotionally and physically, liaising with parents and being involved in parent evenings. You will deal with special needs and support key members of the team. Finally, you will plan and observe, completing paperwork, and monitoring health and safety.
Requirements:
- A clear DBS check is required.
- You must have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
- A good standard of English spoken and written is essential.
Estimated Salary: £19,000 - £23,000 per annum.
