About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team at Premdor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating an efficient production plan that meets customer requirements and supports our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update inventory levels to ensure optimal stockholding.
- Create production schedules that meet customer demands and internal requirements.
- Work closely with the planning and materials manager to produce daily production planning schedules.
- Monitor and maintain finished goods inventory levels in accordance with set targets.
- Ensure all production planning activities support our customer service performance targets.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a production planning environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to act on own initiative.
- Tenacious and resilient with strong IT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English).
- 3 years' or more experience in a similar role.
