Job Title: Social Events Manager

As a Social Events Manager at HC-One, you will play a vital role in creating and implementing activities that bring our residents together. This includes working closely with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events, helping our residents build confidence in socializing, and developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies.

You will be responsible for planning and executing activities, collaborating with the care home team, and promoting a sense of community and inclusivity. Your positive energy and ability to connect with others will be essential in making our residents feel valued and engaged.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute social events for our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager on fundraising initiatives.
  • Help our residents develop communication and interaction skills.
  • Develop innovative activity ideas based on resident interests.
  • Promote team engagement and participation in activities.
Requirements:
  • A background working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience in developing activity programs.
  • Positive energy and ability to connect with others.
  • Natural communication skills and a considerate approach.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong, kind communication skills.
