We are seeking an experienced Therapy Assistant to join our team at Bedford Hospital. As a Senior Therapy Assistant, you will be working as part of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams, providing support, assessment, and treatment to patients in hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • To assess and implement activities, treatments, and exercises for patients, liaising with families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve safe and effective discharge.
  • To monitor and adjust treatments/interventions and review patients on an ongoing basis.
  • To participate in weekend working on a rota basis to improve continuity of care for patients and maintain flow through the hospital service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good standard of education
  • GCSE Grade C English or equivalent
  • Experience of working with patients/clients in a previous job role
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Previous experience of working within a hospital setting
Salary and Benefits

£24,071 to £25,674 per annum (pro rata)
