We are passionate about helping our staff progress in their career journey and are currently seeking a Chartered Accountant Apprentice to join our team at David Allen Accountants.

This is an excellent opportunity for budding accountants to enhance and develop their accounts knowledge in a workplace study environment. As an apprentice, you will be part of our Limited/Traders/Agriculture department, working closely with our experienced team members to ensure accurate and efficient work is carried out at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and submitting accounts, VAT returns, and relevant documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legislation
  • Carrying out work efficiently, maintaining client data security, and updating computer records in a timely manner
  • Taking full responsibility for assigned tasks, planning and prioritizing workflow, budgets, and productivity to meet targets and deadlines
  • Communicating effectively with line managers and team members, identifying ways to improve departmental systems and the client experience
