Our role is to provide comprehensive support to the Corporate Affairs Director, ensuring the team is adequately prepared for meetings, trips, and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Corporate Affairs Director's diary using Microsoft Outlook and associated tools.
  • Organise international travel arrangements and schedules as required.
  • Prepare documents such as letters and presentations, and maintain good relationships with senior executives, support staff, and market contacts.
  • Manage emails to the Corporate Affairs Director and Chief of Staff, responding, prioritising, and facilitating responses as appropriate.
  • Act as first point of contact and 'host' for internal and external visitors.
  • Prepare and submit expenses and raise orders/requisitions using Workday.
  • Provide cover to other Executive Director's PA's.

Requirements

  • Clear communicator with diplomacy, sound judgement, and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, up to and including Executive Director level.
  • Proactive, excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of PA best practice.
  • Experience of working in a legal environment (either in-house or in private practice).
  • Understanding and experience of working within the Insurance industry and the London Insurance Market.
