The Role

As a PA to the Corporate Affairs Director, you will provide comprehensive support to the Director, including:

  • Managing the Director's diary using Microsoft Outlook and associated tools.
  • Organizing international travel arrangements and schedules.
  • Ensuring the Corporate Affairs leadership team and relevant team members are prepared for upcoming meetings, trips, and events.
  • Preparing documents, such as letters and presentations, and responding to queries.
  • Maintaining good relationships with senior executives, support staff, and senior market contacts.
  • Managing the flow of emails to the Director and Chief of Staff, responding, prioritizing, and facilitating responses as appropriate.
  • Responding to queries via telephone and email.
  • Acting as the first point of contact and host for internal and external visitors.
  • Preparing and submitting expenses and raising orders/requisitions using Workday.
  • Providing cover to other Executive Director's PA's.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Clear communication skills, with diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, up to and including Executive Director level.
  • Proactive, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to produce workable solutions that meet the immediate demands of the situation.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable

Experience of working in a legal environment (either in-house or in private practice) and understanding and experience of working within the Insurance industry and the London Insurance Market are desirable.
