The Role
As a PA to the Corporate Affairs Director, you will provide comprehensive support to the Director, including:
- Managing the Director's diary using Microsoft Outlook and associated tools.
- Organizing international travel arrangements and schedules.
- Ensuring the Corporate Affairs leadership team and relevant team members are prepared for upcoming meetings, trips, and events.
- Preparing documents, such as letters and presentations, and responding to queries.
- Maintaining good relationships with senior executives, support staff, and senior market contacts.
- Managing the flow of emails to the Director and Chief of Staff, responding, prioritizing, and facilitating responses as appropriate.
- Responding to queries via telephone and email.
- Acting as the first point of contact and host for internal and external visitors.
- Preparing and submitting expenses and raising orders/requisitions using Workday.
- Providing cover to other Executive Director's PA's.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Clear communication skills, with diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, up to and including Executive Director level.
- Proactive, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to produce workable solutions that meet the immediate demands of the situation.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Desirable
Experience of working in a legal environment (either in-house or in private practice) and understanding and experience of working within the Insurance industry and the London Insurance Market are desirable.
