Gap Personnel is working with a fantastic client based in Norwich who are looking for a Technical Service Operator on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running the Production Machines (Moulders, Top Coaters, Wadding, Closing) and providing first level technical support to the cell or Manufacturing area to ensure the smooth running of machinery and equipment.

They will need to carry out tasks related to Job and Colour changes, and basic maintenance tasks as instructed, to maximise the quality and output levels from the cell and manufacturing area while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role involves carrying out quality checks, hourly inspection, quarantining work, back checking if required, and identifying poor quality and resolving such issues.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for operating a forklift truck and overhead crane in a safe manner.
