Critical Thinking Educator

We are seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher dedicated to inspiring students to understand the world and their place within it.
As a member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping well-rounded, inquisitive thinkers who are engaged with both historical and contemporary issues.
About the Role:- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons: Teach across KS3 and KS4, specialising in one or more humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies), ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts and analytical skills.
- Foster critical thinking: Encourage students to question, analyse, and interpret the world around them through thoughtful, discussion-based classes.
- Encourage real-world connections: Help students make links between their studies and current global issues, understanding the impact of past and present on the future.
- Collaborate and innovate: Work with a dedicated Humanities department, contributing to curriculum planning and sharing best practices to support a rich, dynamic classroom environment.
- Prepare students for examinations: Provide focused support for GCSE exams, ensuring students are confident and equipped to succeed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Proven experience teaching one or more Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
- Engaging and inspiring: Able to instil curiosity and a love for learning, motivating students of all abilities.
- Classroom management skills: Experienced in fostering a respectful and productive classroom environment.
- Collaborative team member: Thrives in a supportive department, willing to share ideas and embrace continuous improvement.
