About the Role

Manucomm Recruitment Careers is seeking an exceptional Product Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a passion for ensuring food safety and quality.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful and award-winning food manufacturer in Wells, Somerset. As a Senior Food Safety and Quality Manager, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's reputation for producing high-quality products.

  • The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits package and 10% bonus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Control and Compliance Expert, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives, overseeing safety protocols, and collaborating closely with operations teams to guarantee that every product leaving the facilities meets exceptional standards.

You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and ensuring that operations adhere to standards and internal guidelines. Furthermore, you will ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is updated and audit-ready at all times.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Excellent Quality Management skills
  • Experience working in a food or drinks manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
