Contract Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our Contracting Team at Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the complexity and demands of our highly successful Building Cleaning and other associated frameworks.
CPC is a purchasing consortium owned and overseen by the Further Education sector. We provide purchasing frameworks, dynamic purchasing systems, and procurement consultancy services for schools, academies, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations.
As a Contract Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the procurement cycle from business planning to contract management
- Providing mentoring support to Senior Procurement Officers and Procurement Officers
- Delivering a full and professional procurement service to our members
- Supporting the development of our procurement portfolio to meet the needs of our members
We are looking for a candidate with extensive procurement experience within the public sector, ideally with a detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and experience working in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and tender high-value framework and contracts
- Support members and clients to define requirements and set specifications
- Embed contractual requirements into the tender and award process
Requirements
- Extensive procurement experience within the public sector
- Knowledge of public sector procurement legislation
- Experience working in the education sector
- Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) is highly desirable
What We Offer
- A salary between £38,000 - £45,000 FTE, dependent on experience
- A discretionary annual bonus of up to £3,000
