Contract Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our Contracting Team at Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the complexity and demands of our highly successful Building Cleaning and other associated frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement cycle from business planning to contract management, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement legislation.
- Develop and tender high-value framework and contracts, supporting members and clients to define requirements and set specifications.
- Provide mentoring support to Senior Procurement Officers and Procurement Officers, as well as a full and professional procurement service to all members.
- Manage the overall performance of the catering framework, including stakeholder engagement and risk management.
Requirements
- Extensive procurement experience within the public sector, ideally with a detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation.
- Experience of working in the education sector, with a strong understanding of the sector's needs and challenges.
- Ability to develop and tender high-value framework and contracts, as well as support members and clients to define requirements and set specifications.
- Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) is highly desirable, but candidates working towards CIPS or demonstrating suitable alternative qualifications and/or experience will be considered.
What We Offer
- A salary between £38,000 - £45,000 FTE, dependent on experience.
- A discretionary annual bonus of up to £3,000.
