Commercial Excellence at Jacobs

In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in driving commercial success within Jacobs' Field Services division. As a Commercial Director, you will work closely with the Commercial Lead and project teams to deliver exceptional commercial services, streamlining processes and driving continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Commercial Lead to establish and maintain best practices across the business unit.
  2. Ensure seamless communication of Contract requirements to project teams, driving effective change control and management.
  3. Develop and implement Sub-Contract arrangements using the NEC suite of Contract Documents.
  4. Manage administrative processes for Sub-Contracts, focusing on change controls, early warnings, compensation events, and payment.
  5. Support the Project Manager in resolving commercial issues with clients and implementing strategies to avoid litigation/claims.
  6. Draft Business Agreements, including Alliance, Teaming, Collaboration, and Confidentiality agreements.
  7. Administer large multi-discipline contracts within the supply chain, including pre-contract engagement.
