Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager

1st Executive is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial needs of our projects, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring all legislative and contract requirements are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project budgets and oversee commercial and contractual management aspects of projects.
  • Review and advise on contracts, manage risk, and maximise operational performance.
  • Procure subcontracts and oversee commercial and contractual management of subcontractors.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare timely reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the NEC Suite of Contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial and financial principles, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in leading financial management and cost control on projects.
Preferred but not Essential:
  • BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification.
  • MCIPS desirable.
