Senior Commercial Manager

1st Executive is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial needs of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project budgets and ensure all financial aspects are in line with company policies.
- Oversee commercial and contractual management aspects of projects, working closely with the Project Manager.
- Review and advise on contracts, managing risk and maximizing operational performance.
- Procure subcontracts and oversee commercial and contractual management of subcontractors.
- Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, changes in legislation, and emerging trends in commercial management.
- Monitor commercial activities using key metrics and prepare timely reports for senior management.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management role.
- Excellent knowledge of the NEC Suite of Contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record in leading financial management and cost control on projects.
- Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- MCIPS desirable.
