Healthy Communities Program Manager

We are Places for People Group, a social enterprise that believes in empowering communities to thrive. Our mission is to create active places and healthy people, and we're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthy Communities Program Manager.

About the Role

  • Develop and manage sustainable Healthy Communities projects and programs that deliver measurable impact for the community, focusing on tackling health inequalities.
  • Collaborate with line managers to complete monitoring and evaluation tasks in line with current data protection protocols.
  • Deliver specific Healthy community projects and programs, such as Exercise Referral, gym-based classes, and falls prevention, according to parameters discussed with line managers.

About You

  • Hold a qualified instructor certification in a relevant discipline to deliver sessions independently, such as Gym level 3 or NGB level 2 or higher.
  • Have experience in planning, delivering, and monitoring sessions.
  • Be passionate about improving the health of the local community.
  • Be able to use MS tools.
